Practitioner Registry & Certification

ABOUT US

RESTORATION, EDUCATION, AND DELIVERY OF NATURAL AND TRADITIONAL MEDICINE, WORLDWIDE.
Since the late 1980s, there has been a phenomenal growth in natural medicine in North America, more than in any other area of health care. Exhaustive research arried out by WONMP revealed that, according to the World Health Organization, (WHO), only the United States and Canada have official registration and organized accreditation for Naturopaths and Doctors of Natural Medicine. The United Kingdom only recently began a registry of complimentary medicine practitioners with only a few registered naturopaths and natural medicine doctor.

The overwhelming lack of recognition and the relatively low numbers of doctors, therapists and technicians, who practice natural medicine worldwide, leaves the world’s poverty-stricken population without basic health care or simply to rely mainly on allopathic doctors, who use expensive drugs and diagnostics. The few doctors who practice some form of natural medicine or the individuals who practice indigenous medicine, lack a confident public image. WONMP was established and awarded International Accreditation and Recognition by the International Parliament for Safety and Peace (IPSP), under international law, recognized by the Vienna Convention of 1961 & 1963. (www.internationalparliament.org).

OBJECTIVES
• To develop, support, promote and regulate standards for the effective delivery of natural medicine worldwide.
• To help natural medicine practitioners develop their skills in compounding and dispensing herbal and mineral medicines that are native to the local area, to ease the suffering of those who are ill.
• To teach communities to document, for future generations, the skills handed down from their ancestors.
To meet its objectives: WONMP is seeking to register natural medicine practitioners, and increase the number of those willing to work as a unified group, to restore and promote the use of natural medicine worldwide, and alleviate human suffering.

PRACTITIONERS OF NATURAL MEDICINES are a multiple disciplinary group of Natural Health care professionals- Naturopaths, Homeopaths, Osteopaths, Dentists, Holistic Medical Doctors, Chiropractors, Orthomolecular Medical Doctors and Eastern Medicine doctors, amongst others dedicated to providing basic and natural medicine health care, worldwide, especially to impoverished nations. WONMP is dedicated to make DOCTORS OF NATURAL MEDICINES a household name, and making it recognized by relevant authorities. WONMP is dedicated to restoring the slowly disappearing art and science of traditional, natural medicines to its rightful place in health care, worldwide.
